The Grayzone’s Max Blumenthal and Ben Norton interview Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo on the 40th anniversary of the Sandinista Revolution.

Ortega and Murillo discuss the failed US-backed coup attempt in Nicaragua in 2018 and the Sandinista government’s peace and reconciliation process with the opposition.

They also address the Donald Trump administration’s imposition of economic sanctions, global geopolitics, and the Non-Aligned Movement.

The FSLN leader says “we must develop a multipolar world, to save the planet, for peace.”
