US sanctions ‘carpet bombed Venezuela’s economy’: Opposition advisor & economist Francisco Rodríguez

Anya Parampil sat down with Venezuelan economist Francisco Rodríguez to discuss the current state of Venezuela’s economy and opposition forces.

Parampil asked about the future of Citgo Petroleum, Venezuela’s most valuable international asset.

A former advisor to presidential candidate Henri Falcón, who ran against current President Nicolás Maduro in 2018, Rodríguez discusses Juan Guaidó and explains what Venezuela’s political opposition would look like without relentless US interference.

He also details his latest project, the Oil for Venezuela Foundation, which he says seeks a humanitarian solution to the humanitarian crisis in the country.
